ProEdge Hockey Academy is now in its second year of business. NHL player Jassen Cullimore is the founder and president with 19 years of professional hockey experience and two Stanley Cups rings. Jassen not only can play the game but also has learned how to become a well-rounded player. He along with his assistants will provide participants with the drills, skills, and training that many NHL masters have used. Through our three-hour curriculum, enrollees will have a chance to experience in conditioning, agility, offensive and defensive skills and mental confidence players need to advance in their game.

The camp had many great opportunities to improve shooting, skating, stick handling, and defense , Jassens specialty. The camp also offered a great off ice element that was fun, engaging and allowed the camp to connect the on ice improvement with the importance of off ice training. “Just wanted to let you know that Joshua and Kenny had a great time at your camp. We have done many activities over the summer and when I asked them what they liked the best, your camp was mentioned. The most important thing about the camp to me was that all the kids had fun. We have done some high level clinics and camps in the past and they learned a lot but they also were not really excited to go everyday. With your camp, I had no troubles getting them up and going in the morning. The drills that you had them do were the right mix for all of the kids and all though my kids and Tomas knew them, the repetitions really got the kids to understand the drill and let them master the movements. Assuming that Josh and Kenny are still interested in Hockey (I think they will be), we would love to repeat with you next year. Also, thanks so much for helping me out on Friday when I had car trouble. Most athletes would have done nothing.
At the Blackhawk Convention, we were walking around and came across some used equipment. We found a pair of your CCM gloves that had your name embroidered on them. Most kids wanted Kane and Toews stuff, My kids asked me to buy your equipment. You left a positive mark on Josh and Kenny and that is more important than any Hockey skill they learned. We hope to see you in a Blackhawk uniform this year and if not, we will drive to Rockford to see you. Good Luck.”
